The Hartreemill club fielded another very young XV with six aged 21 or less as experimentation starts in earnest for next season.

A series of rudimentary errors and some poor midfield defence paved the way for the soft scores Biggar conceded, and with Stirling fairly clinical with those chances presented, Biggar lost their way during this period.
Stand-off Stuart Edwards gave Stirling the lead from a penalty after eight minutes and shortly afterwards great play by Alex Moffat set up Robbie McGowan to crash over for their opening try, with Edwards converting.
Inside 12 minutes Stirling had taken a 17-0 lead when Danny Gilmour raced 40 yards downfield before flipping an inside pass to Gordon McCrorie to touch down, with Edwards converting.
Renwick was then forced off with Davy Reive summoned from 2nd XV duty to replace him.
Sam Muir got Biggar on the scoreboard with a penalty, but Edwards replied with a similar award for a 20-3 half-time score.
Biggar came out for the second half determined to pull themselves back into the game and spent the lion’s share of time in their opponents’ half.
This eventually paid off when Scott Watson crashed over and Conor Lavery converted for 20-10.
However, Biggar couldn’t grab any further scores and Stirling ended the game as champions.
Biggar end their Scottish Hydro Premier 2 season with a trip to play Aberdeen Grammar on Saturday.
The Hartreemill club enjoyed a 29-18 win over the Granite City club on October 31 and will travel to Rubislaw hoping to do the double.
