PROFESSIONAL rugby players from Glasgow Warriors recently paid a visit to Hamilton College to pass on their expertise to junior and senior pupils.
Flanker Steve Swindall and hooker Fergus Thomson turned up to put the pupils through their paces alongside Hamilton Rugby Club’s development officer Jared Tuoro.
Scott Borthwick (left), the college’s head of PE said: “Thanks to Jared and the Hamilton club’s efforts to forge links with the college, our pupils have shown much enthusiasm for rugby and they were particularly thrilled by a visit from the Warriors.
“The partnership between the club and college will hopefully see many benefits to our children’s fitness and enthusiasm for the sport in the future.”
