Villagers prepare for their challenge

UDDINGSTON Rugby Club will play their first pre-season friendly against Marr 2nds at Troon on Saturday, August 16, as they move up to Scottish Hydro Electric West League Division One.
And the Villagers will follow that up with matches against Lanark on August 23 and Penicuik seven days later.
All of the matches are away, and kick-off at 3pm.
Uddingston’s opening league fixture is at Cumnock on Saturday, September 6, with a 3pm kick-off.
Senior pre-season has already started back, and takes place on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
