Nearly 100 players and supporters sat down in the new clubhouse at Bothwell Castle Policies on Friday, to be entertained by Iain Leggate and Donald Findlay, QC, before the presentation of awards.
This year’s Geoff Stone Trophy for Clubman of the Year went to Chris Bradley.

On Saturday, experience and wisdom paid off as the Crocks ran out 53-24 winners. After the match, Crocks captain Michael Reekie gratefully accepted the Bruce Fitzgerald Memorial Quaich.
With the senior season now over, the focus turns to the annual Mini Rugby Tournament on Sunday, when teams will compete at all age levels from P3-P7.
Registration is at noon and matches start an hour later.
Financial support for the tournament has been provided by Clydesdale Bank, Jamie Lonsdale estate agents, and Scotmid.
An added bonus for the day will ber the appearance of the Calcutta Cup.
Following Scotland’s victory over England in the Six Nations in March, the trophy is being taken round Scottish clubs.
Members are reminded that the AGM takes place in the clubhouse tonight (Thursday) at 7.30pm.
