Two lose out in Holland

FORMER Hamilton Rugby Club players Scott Smith and Graeme Whyte were left disappointed as Hilversum lost the Dutch National Championship to rivals The Dukes last week.

Hamilton’s departing chairman Ian Smith, his wife Liz, daughter Gillian Keeper and granddaughter Morgan, travelled to cheer on son Scott, while Derek was backed by dad Derek and aunt Karen Whyte.

Sadly it came to nothing and the Dukes ran out narrow 19-18 winners

Despite the disappointment, Graeme reckons Hilversum can look back on a highly satisfactory season.
