Hamilton Accies 0 - 1 Hibernian
ACCIES' fought hard against Hibs last night at New Douglas Park, but a second half goal from Steven Fletcher added to the belief that the Edinburgh side are their hoodoo team.
Hamilton attacked and pressurised Mixu Paatelainen's men throughout the first half, with James Mccarthy and Brian Easton attacking to great effect down Hibs' right and Paul McGowan holding the ball up well in midfield.
McCarthy attempted cut-back was cut out by keeper Grzegorz Szamotulski after the midfielder burst past Darren McCormack. Later, another shot from him was just wide of the post, while Kenny Deuchar's half-volley from Simon Mensing's header failed to find the net.
Hibs came out more organised in the second half and attacked Hamilton, with Colin Nish, Steven Fletcher and Derek Riordan stretching the defence on the break.
It wasn't until ten minutes from time when Fletcher converted Riordan's ball played across the line.
