Kilmarnock 0 Hamilton Accies 1
HAMILTON moved one step closer to securing their place in the SPL next season after a much-needed win at Kilmarnock.
Richard Offiong's second half goal put the visitors in front after a Paul McGowan corner. James McCarthy looked strong in midfield throughout, and almost scored after an Offiong chip was denied by Killie keeper Alan Combe. However, his shot struck the post.
Kilmarnock didn't trouble Accies' goal, but Combe did well to keep most of Hamilton's goal attempts at bay.
The final score was 1-0, meaning Accies move to ninth in the league and level points with Jim Jeffries' frustrated Ayrshire side.
