HAMILTON Accies managed to fight off a struggling Inverness side at Caledonian Stadium at the weekend.
The visitors opened the scoring in 17 minutes when they were awarded a free kick. Alex Neil moved like he was going to take the shot, but instead passed to a waiting James Gibson who found the back of the net, and broke Accie's seven game goal drought.
Ten minutes it was nearly 2-0 to Accies when ICT's keeper had to react to a Gibson free kick that deflected off Richie Foran.
An Inverness chance to equalise came to nothing when a shot went over the crossbar.
At the start of the second half it was Caley Thistle who came out of the dressing room the stronger side. The home team applied the pressure and managed to claw back a goal when their player's deflected shot went past keeper Tomas Cerny two minutes from the end.
