Is another fuel crisis looming?
Last week’s announcement that workers would be staging a strike at Grangemouth oil refinery has sparked widespread panic with drivers flocking to the pumps to fill up in fear of an impending fuel shortage.
The strike, over workers' pensions will see 1200 staff from the Grangemouth plant walk out, with the possible result of leaving Scotland’s petrol stations high and dry.
With queues building up at forecourts around Scotland, do you think the fuel shortage debate is simply a mass panic brought on by fraught drivers terrified of being left with an empty tank? Do you think drivers should be supporting the rights of the workers at the Grangemouth refinery?
