Controversy over wind farm plans

Blantyre residents are unhappy about proposals to build two wind turbines close to their homes.

HSBC bank hope to install two 65ft turbines at their Sydes Brae call centre as part of their efforts to reduce their carbon footprint.

However, neighbours are concerned about noise and the proximity of the masts (read the full story here).
