Action urgently needed

THE article in the Advertiser last week concerning the disgraceful state of South Lanarkshire Crematorium was great. To my mind, it’s a mess there.

The interment section is a disgrace and cannot be described as a memorial ‘garden’ in any sense of the word.

The rest of the crematorium is lovely. Why, after over three years, is this area not lovely too?

It’s neglected and like a farmer’s field.

The council should get their act together and fix it now, showing the respect for the dead that people’s loved ones deserve.

I’ve stopped going to this ‘memorial garden’ because the state of this area is simply too upsetting.
