I READ with interest Brian Martin’s comments in last week’ s Advertiser, where he blasted South Lanarkshire Council on the state of Stonehouse Violet’s pitch.
I recently walked my dog along the public footpath between Barncluith and Strathclyde Park. We emerged at the Mausoleum looking like the ‘Mudlark and his pooch’, only to observe two council workmen discussing a small puddle in front of one of the goalmouths.
You are absolutely correct, Mr Martin. The council should get their priorities right.
