Sick of trouble being ignored

EVERY Friday and Saturday in Fleming Way, Hillhouse, the same group of youths gather and cause trouble. Their anti-social behaviour is a problem for the locals.

You get shouting, swearing and drinking in the street, and sometimes the shop fronts are damaged.

Myself and others have alerted police to the problems being caused – but nothing seems to be done.

From what I can see, police never patrol the area and when they are phoned about the problems, they usually turn up an hour or two late when the ‘birds have flown’.

I remember the time where the Curfew was in place in Hamilton and no-one was causing problems.

Why are the streets not safe for the people such as elderly women and war veterans who fought to make Scotland a better place in which to live?
