SNP have let us down over community casualty unit

I HAVE been following with interest the ongoing debate on the health facility in Clydesdale.

Last week’s letter in the Advertiser from the SNP prompted me to seek out the document mentioned, only to find that it confirmed what Karen Gillon had been saying all along: that we were to get a community casualty unit in the first half of 2008; no ifs, no buts, and no maybes.

I trust that councillor Sutherland will now accept that he has got it wrong — and that his party have let this area down.

Allan Miller, Kirkmuirhill.
