I am writing regarding the letter in last week’s Advertiser about Calderside Academy, ‘My school assessment: a soul-less building that’s seriously overcrowded’.

Interesting analogies, however this fourth-year pupil should really return to the real world.

School is for learning; it’s not an option in life.

Make the most of it and stop moaning.
