These youngsters really know how to stage a sparkling show

On Friday my friend and I attended a performance of ‘Annie’ by Hamilton District Youth Theatre at Hamilton Town House.

It was one of the best shows I have ever seen — absolutely fabulous!

We couldn’t believe how professional it was and feel very proud there are so many talented young folk in the district. We’ll certainly be looking for many local names ‘in lights’ further down the line.

Each member of the cast was simply ’the best’ and their parents must be proud of them — we certainly are.

The show was lively from start to finish and the costumes were fantastic.

The slick scene changes were also great (the revolving stage arrangement was brilliant).

Hamilton District Youth Theatre are now at the top of our entertainment list and we’ve already decided to be first in line for their version of Aladdin in December, surely something to look forward to in the run-up to the festive season.
