Breast Cancer Care are looking for women and men who have had breast cancer to model in their annual Scottish Fashion Show sponsored by National Tyres on September 25.
You don’t need to have the vital statistics of a supermodel to take part — the event is all about celebrating real people and showing that it’s possible to feel confident and look stunning after a diagnosis of breast cancer.
I hosted last year’s London Fashion Show in which 22 women and two men took to the catwalk, and I heard about the success of the Scottish show.
As well as raising awareness about breast cancer and the services that Breast Cancer Care offer, the show raised £190,000 so that the charity can continue to support people affected by breast cancer all over Scotland.
Any readers interested in applying to take part in the show can download an application form at breastcancercare.org.uk/theshow
