£3.8m Lotto ticket unclaimed

The winner of a £3.6m National Lottery prize has until 11pm today (Thursday) to claim their prize.

Camelot say the ticket for the May 12 draw was bought in South Lanarkshire and matched all six numbers. They were 1, 5, 18, 21, 23, 33 and the bonus ball was 20.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to The National Lottery Good Causes – adding to the £28 billion already raised through sales of lottery tickets since The National Lottery launched in November 1994.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “This really is the final push to find the winner as the claim deadline draws ever closer.

“We are desperate to find the lucky ticket-holder as the money could change that person’s life.

“We’re hoping this seasonal push will get the people of South Lanarkshire searching and checking any old Lotto ticket before it’s too late.

“We are urging people to check pockets of clothing, wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – there is literally a pile of money sitting waiting for someone.

“We have our fingers crossed and we hope someone comes forward to claim their win before the deadline.”

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.

Alternatively, players can email Camelot to confirm they intend to claim their prize but this email must be received no later than 11pm on November 8.

Camelot highlighted the unclaimed prize by sending to Hamilton Mausoleum just before Hallowe’en three local ‘witches’- Alana Irwin, Georgia Hammill and Jennifer McLean.
